Where do the workshops take place?
Our public workshops (Macarons, Christmas Cookies, Halloween) take place at Feinkoch Studio, Fillgradergasse 8, 1060 Wien (Google Maps). Some dates run at Kochatelier St. Gabriel, Grenzgasse 111, 2344 Maria Enzersdorf, and are booked through our partner 25 Stunden Brot. You’ll find every date and location under Upcoming Workshops on our homepage. Kids’ birthday parties take place at your home, a venue you rent, or one of our partner studios.
Which language is the workshop in?
Most of our workshops run on separate German (DE) and English (EN) dates. You’ll see the language next to the time when you choose your date.
Do I need any baking experience?
No. All our public workshops are made for beginners and hobby bakers. We guide you step by step.
What’s included?
All ingredients, equipment and aprons, plus everything you bake to take home. Most workshops also come with a digital recipe booklet.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, and a box or container to take home everything you bake.
I have an allergy. Can I still join?
Please tell us when you book (there’s a field for it at checkout) or by email before the workshop. We’ll do our best to adapt, but our workshops take place in shared kitchens that handle nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy, so we can’t guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Can children join?
Our Halloween Baking Party is a family workshop for children aged 6 and up, together with a participating adult. The price is per person, for children and adults alike. Our other workshops are for ages 14 and up; younger children are welcome if a parent or another adult joins them. For kids’ birthday parties, see Kids Birthday Parties.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. Up to 14 days before the workshop you get a full refund; 7 to 13 days before, 50% back or a free move to another date. You can always send someone else in your place. All details are in our Booking & Cancellation Terms.
How can I pay?
By card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna or EPS online bank transfer. Prices are final prices; as a small business we don’t charge VAT.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! You can buy a gift voucher online at the bottom of our Workshops & Classes page. The code arrives by email right after payment. You can use it for any workshop, private chef dinner or kids’ birthday party, and it doesn’t expire.
Can I book a workshop for my team or a private group?
Yes, we run team events and private workshops, at your office, a private venue or one of our partner kitchens. Just get in touch and tell us what you have in mind.
How do I get to Feinkoch Studio?
The studio is a short walk from the U2 station Museumsquartier and the U3 station Neubaugasse. If you come by car: the streets around the studio are a short-term parking zone. On weekdays you can only park there for 2 hours, which is shorter than most workshops, so a parking garage is the easier option. On weekends and public holidays street parking is free.
